Victory V30 MKII The Jack Compact Sleeve Guitar Head with 6L6 Valves

Victory Amplification is excited to update the V30 MKII The Jack to include a wooden sleeved version to the compact family. The V30 MKII Jack is a 42-watt, two-channel, three-mode, all-valve guitar amplifier. V30MKII is evolved from the V30 Countess, Victory’s first ever Compact Series head that was developed with the help of Guthrie Govan in 2013.

Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and unbeatable portability, our customers now have the option to choose between our classic lunchbox style heads or the all-new wooden sleeved heads for the V30 MKII Jack. Originally developed with Guthrie Govan as his ‘flying amp’, the V30 MKII features an all-new Clean-channel Crunch mode and the foot switchable ‘Nomod’ function to offer two levels of bass response.

The original V30 has very distinct clean and overdrive channels. There is massive headroom and clarity in the former, with a ton of heavy rocking overdrive in the latter. With V30MKII, Victory have added an extra foot switchable crunch mode to the clean channel – developed for V130 The Super Jack– that offers a whole new palette of pushed clean, crunch and light overdrive tones to the party.

Along with the new ‘Nomod’ function, the V30 is now the ultimate ultracompact all-rounder. All the features and sounds from the original V30 MKII Jack are present but there are leather corners, a leather handle and a deluxe Victory logo, adding an extra layer of British handmade quality to the family.

• Two Channels - Footswitchable clean and overdrive channels offer chiming, high-headroom cleans through to huge, modern-rockready gain.
• Simple Three-Band EQ - V30MKII’s shared EQ is optimised across both channels to give you a wide range of tone control. You can now use it in combination with the ‘Nomod’ function for thicker or more articulate tones to taste.
• “NOMOD” Function - The footswitchable low-end resonance control is a result of some users wanting a tighter feel for the V30, especially with heavier overdrive sounds. However, our dear friend Guthrie Govan likes it exactly as it was, so we offer both options!
• All-New Crunch Mode - This footswitchable addition to the clean channel brings an extra gain stage to take you into pushed and light overdrive sounds. It’s great for anything and everything where a little bit of drive is needed.
• Separate Channel Master Volumes - Each channel has its own master volume pot so you can balance your output levels as you need them for clean and drive sounds.
